NEW data upload tool in Engage

This one is a biggie for user experience. It has been in the plans for a little while and we are really excited to announce that our new fantastic data upload tool is finally ready and live!

Admin only – but with great benefits for all companies

This new feature will only be visible to admin users but we are very excited about it because it benefits all our customers and means that every company can now manage their data and updates even easier than before.

Making data uploads more relaxed

With the new tool, you can upload spreadsheet files in CSV, XLSX, XLSM and ODS formats. You no longer need to use a strictly structured template and we have relaxed the rules around data formats. Simply choose the file you wish to upload and map the column headings in your file to the available fields in our database. Our clever little upload robot will do the rest. 

Update all data elements

We’ve overhauled the entire bulk upload section so that the handy new mapping tool is available for uploading departments, employee data and historic absence.

Don’t panic – you can UNDO!

If there are any issues with your upload, you can check what went wrong in a failed rows report that we provide. If you make a mistake, you also now have an option to ‘undo’.
